Sony Pictures Entertainment has released another trailer for Goosebumps 2, but this ruins a great cameo of the sequel. The follow-up, entitled Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, does not seem to count on the return of Jack Black's RL Stine on all the previous advances, but this trailer reveals that Black is indeed back, since the children at the center of the story enlist Stine's help when she unleashes her book "Haunted Halloween" in her city. The development in Goosebumps 2 was interesting. The sequel was announced, but we found out last December when Ari Sandel (The DUFF) signed to indicate that Sony was developing two sequels of Goosebumps: one with Jack Black and one without him. There were programming problems involving Black (probably with The House with a Clock in Its Walls), but Sony was also looking to cut costs in tracking since the first Goosebumps was only a modest success with $ 150 million worldwide. It seemed that Sony moved with Black-less Goosebumps 2, but as we can see in this trailer, they found a way to bring Black back, after all, although in something like a cameo. In fact, Black does not officially figure as a member of the cast of Goosebumps 2, so this is a secret cameo that Sony decided to spoil. To be fair, the trailers have so far lacked the charm that made the first movie so appealing, so maybe they're getting a bit to take people to the theater. In any case, take a look at the new Goosebumps 2 trailer below, now with 100% more Jack Black. The film stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Madison Iseman, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Caleel Harris, Chris Parnell and Ken Jeong. Goosebumps 2 opens in theaters on October 12.
The monsters Goosbumps by R.L. Stine is unleashed in another unsuspecting city in the second trailer of the upcoming sequel, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween. As the children of the 1990s knew too well, Stine's original Goosebumps books were extremely popular at their peak. Stine's initial wave of novels spawned multiple derivative books, a Fox Kids television series and Sony's real action movie in 2015. Goosebumps the movie received $ 150 million at the worldwide box office (against a budget of $ 58 million ) and earned the respect of most critics for its friendly mix of horror and supernatural comedy. Even so, their follow-up endured an uphill climb before production finally began earlier this year. It turned out that Stine left perhaps his most dangerous manuscript of Goosebumps in his house since then abandoned, when two young friends named Sonny (Jeremy Ray Taylor) and Sam (Caleel Harris) learn the hard way, after opening the enchanted manuscript of Stine and inadvertently unleash a lot of creepy creatures in our world.
